Medusa Pendant | Greek Goddess Medallion in Sterling Silver & Gold
The Medusa Pendant is a sculptural medallion inspired by one of Greek mythology’s most powerful protective figures.
Unlike the other Goddess Pantheon profiles, Medusa faces forward. Her gaze is direct, her expression unwavering, and her snake hair rises in high relief around her face. Each serpent is sculpted to feel alive and dimensional, giving the pendant a strong presence from the front and side.
In Greek mythology, Medusa is often reduced to a monster. This design returns her to something older and more powerful: a protective force, a boundary, a warning, and a symbol of survival.
Her image was historically used as an apotropaic symbol — a form meant to ward off harm. In this medallion, Medusa becomes a modern relic of protection, transformation, and refusal.
Part of the Design by Athena Goddess Pantheon Collection, the Medusa Pendant is made for those who do not soften their power to make others comfortable.

We passed by the store quickly glancing, at an event. To rush to the vitamins and proteins bar. But the jewelled images I saw still lingered in my head. So I returned to take s closer look. I was not disappointed. The more I examined the pieces I could tell they were not the average beaded and organized gems. Gems are of unique colours. And quality. The spacing was done with immaculate precision and thought. And the pieces seemed to tell a timeless story. I chose to buy a necklace. To mark this escapade with my daughter to this women's event. But then owner came along and engaged in conversation. And as soon as she relinquished the matching pieces I was sold on them too. Needless to say.
